The telegraphic transfer is either transferred into a bank account overseas or may be collected over the counter from the bank to which it was sent.

The process may take up to 72 hours.

The traveller must remember to take local public holidays, foreign public holidays as well as weekends into account as these do not form part of the 72-hour period and may affect the transfer time.
